A wine tasting in Granada with Ricardo Martínez is a bespoke private tasting: 90 to 120 minutes, for groups of 8 to 30 guests, from €40 per person, at the venue you choose in the city or in your own accommodation. It is hosted by a WSET-certified sommelier, and every glass comes with shared plates and tapas in the centre of the table.

No canned scripts or closed lists: we work with a curated selection of wines —from Granada, Andalusian, fortified, vermouth, a vertical of whites or a Rioja versus Ribera— and tune it to your tastes, preferences and budget.
And not only wine: we also run craft beer, EVOO (extra-virgin olive oil), whisky and local KM0 produce tastings. Every glass comes with shared plates and tapas in the centre of the table.

- Wherever you choose. I set the tasting up in whichever venue you prefer in Granada —a private room, a venue, an office— or in your own accommodation. There is no fixed address: the tasting travels with you and I bring the selection, the materials and the set-up. I have hosted tastings in venues such as Hotel Gar Anat, La Vinoteca de Gomérez or Espacio Lirola, and also in homes, villas and offices around Granada.
How many people is a private tasting for?
- From 8 up to 30 guests, depending on the capacity of the chosen venue. The minimum booking is 8 guests or €320.
How long does a wine tasting last?
- Between 90 and 120 minutes as a guide. The final length depends on the tasting format we choose and on the group's own pace: I never cut a conversation short by the clock.
How much does a wine tasting in Granada cost?
- From €40 per guest, with a minimum booking of 8 guests or €320. It includes the sommelier's wine selection, shared plates and tapas, tasting notes and materials, and personalised recommendations.
Do you run wine tastings for companies?
- Yes. A private tasting works very well as a corporate event, team building, client experience or team celebration. Format, length and selection are designed around the occasion and the budget.
Can the tasting be held at my place?
- Yes. If you would rather I come to your home, your office or your hotel, the format is sommelier at home: from €190 for a minimum two-hour tasting service in Granada and surroundings, with optional private chef, waiter and glassware rental.
Is it only wine?
- Wine above all: Granada and Andalusian wines, fortified wines and vermouth, a selection of whites or a Rioja versus Ribera. But I also run craft beer, EVOO, whisky and spirits tastings, and local KM0 produce sessions.
I know nothing about wine — will I be lost?
- No. The tasting is designed for every level, from complete beginners to advanced enthusiasts, and it is told without unnecessary jargon. You leave knowing how to choose better from any wine list, with the option to take the tasting wines home at a special price.
How do I book a tasting?
- Bookings are made through the website, or by writing to me directly if you want a bespoke tasting. Private tastings are confirmed with a 30% deposit.
Can the tasting be held in English?
- Yes. I host tastings in both Spanish and English.
What if we are fewer than 8 people?
- The private tasting has a minimum booking of 8 guests or €320. For smaller groups, the tapas and wine tour of Granada takes 2 to 10 guests (minimum 4 guests or €200) and the winery day out takes 2 to 8 guests. I can also come to your place as a sommelier at home from €190.
Are there open-date tastings I can join?
- Yes. Alongside bespoke private tastings, I publish open city tastings, paired dinners and seasonal experiences in the booking calendar on this website. Places are limited and confirmed strictly in booking order.
